The duties willinclude:Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
Responsible for managing backups
Diagnose and resolve technical issues
Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager
Providedesktop and server support for clients
Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops and MSExchange
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
Install authorisedsoftware to laptops and desktops
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up todate on desktops and laptops
Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops
Fault-finding to laptops and desktops
Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers,desktops and laptops
Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained
Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software
Ensuring all software purchasedlicensing is recorded and maintained
Exchange server mailbox maintenance includingarchiving mailboxes
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance withHR requirements
Providing support for MAC and PC
Knowledge & Experience:
Microsoft qualification or minimum of 3 years’ experience
Relevant ITqualification
3 to 5 Years in IT technical Support role
Experience setting upprinters
Experience with Remote Desktop support
Experience with supportingservers
Solid understanding of DNS, IP Addressing, MAC addressing
Solidunderstanding, implementation and support of MS programmes
