Role DescriptionRisk & Governance: IT Specialist Cape Town EE position Our client is a consumer financebusiness offering a variety of financial services products with a number of leading retailers. The successful candidate will also coordinate the overall IT Continuity Managementcapability of the Company. This involves ensuring the appropriate frameworks and standards areimplemented and monitored across these disciplines. Key Responsibilities: OPC for the ITDepartment, this will involve the coordination of the end to end processes and procedures of theOperational Control framework and Permanent Control Plan Liaise with internal and external auditorswith respect to any audits for the area, and ensure follow up pertaining to any findings andrecommendations Responsibility for the appropriate and robust IT security coverage with respect toInformation security, Information systems security, and IT Continuity Drive the deployment of therelevant security policies, processes and the management of any incidents Ensure the identificationof any security risks, their mitigation and follow up Monitor the overall health of the securitysystem, handle any alerts and management of any security-related issues and incidents Develop andenhance the IT security posture and maturity Ensure appropriate reporting for areas of coverageCollaboration with internal stakeholders regarding advising of subject matter and drive training andawareness to the various teams Stay up to date on developments in the market / other internal groupsto ensure best practices that support the business and IT in its strategic objectives Ensureintegration with Groups
Skills and Experience
Requirements: Education and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification Minimum of5 years’ experience in an IT environment, including: IT Risk, Security and Continuity ITControl and Compliance Reporting and Project Management Experience in the Financial Servicesindustry Contact: Andrea.Messina@eoh.com
