Are you a recent BCom Marketing Graduate who is willing to work hard with the potential to grow and develop? Our client is a leading Software company with a successful track record in developing applications for the financial markets. They are currently looking for a young, energetic, and intelligent Marketing & Sales Assistant who will report to the Marketing Coordinator and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing processes. Responsibilities will include assisting with quotations, contract renewals, drafting of letters and general office duties; creating a wide range of different marketing material; preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents; posting social media content; digital marketing; identifying marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation; conducting market research and competitor analysis; and assisting with event planning and social activities for the company. You will need to have a general business understanding as well as a good understanding of where the company products are targeted in the financial marketplace. In order to excel in this role, you should be persistent in following up with deadlines and providing outstanding customer service. The role would suit an individual who is highly creative with the ability to think outside of the box while able to follow instructions and deliver quality results. You should be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, structured pieces. To apply you should have a BCom in Marketing and Sales with up to two years’ experience in a similar role. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio essential and Canva ideal. You should have knowledge and experience with the different social media platforms and have completed various social media courses. Financial Markets knowledge preferred.
