Swiftnet provides Wireless Data Services nationally to an extensive customer base, spread over all segments of the market.

Minimum requirements: BSc Computer Science, BCom Informatics degree or a similar 3 year qualification is required.
The successful candidate should be able to operate in a commercial setting, identifying and analyzing business requirements and translating those into technical solutions
The ability to perform the business analysis and software development necessary to build and integrate disparate business applications, management systems, billing systems and IT service platforms are key requirements.
A proven track record in an Internet Service Provider or Telecommunications environment would be an advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical design and/or development role.
Skills and abilities required:
• Software design and development in at least Java, or C# and one of Perl, Python or PHP.
• Data analysis, data model design , and data processing
• Business and requirements analysis
• An understanding of business processes and business process improvement
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems
• Ability to document complex systems
• Experience functioning in both a project delivery and operation support environment is required.
• Experience with OSS/BSS system design and development
• A solid understanding of ISP systems and/or IP networking would be an advantage.
• Web development skills in HTML, JavaScript and JSP or ASP would be advantageous
• Experience with the .NET framework and OutSystems Agile Platform will be advantageous
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL database development is a must.
General requirements:
Able to interface and communicate with customers and business stakeholders.
The suitable candidate must be independent, self-reliant, enthusiastic and resourceful with the ability to take ownership for and solve technical problems.
