Job Description:•Building models required for the business to guide business, including financial and decisions.
•Perform analysis for business to give them a better understanding of relevant data/trends/behaviour.
•Understand general commercial principles so that sound and well-designed models can be built.
•Pro-active in suggesting for opportunities as well as making analytical observations on any aspect that would be beneficial to business.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
•Mathematical/Analytical B.Sc. degree.
•5 years’ experience in an analytical and modelling position (preferably in the banking sector).
•Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
•Financial modelling skills.
•SAS programming preferable but background in another programming language would be considered.
•Ability to understand requirements from business and have a good understanding of business in general.
•Ability to do trend analyses, sensitivity analyses and build scenarios.
•Able to understand interrelatedness of numbers within a model.
•Good interpretation skills.
•Advanced Excel knowledge.
