Sea Freight Imports Manager required in Cape Town.Our client, with a reputation of having a fantastic company culture, is looking for a new Seafreight Manager to take on board. This company is rapidly growing, so if you have proven track record in the Freight Forwarding industry and able to accomplish the operational objectives of the department with profitable results, coupled with strong people management and client service skills then this may be your big break!

Responsibilities:
Employee management and supervision
Managing all Sea Freight Import Operations.
Ensuring high levels of service and standard of quality.
Handling creditors and debtors.
Ensure department profitability.
General administration.

Qualification:
Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Imports and Exports essential.

Experience:
In-depth understanding of freight forwarding operations with the ability to problem solve.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Freight Forwarding and NVOCC with 2/3 years in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in managing a strong team.
Working knowledge of labour legislation.

Skills Required:
Building professional relationships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Self-Management.
Computer literacy.
