Role details:
The primary role of the Business Development Specialist is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. Work with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. Manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company.

Experience
o Bachelor's degree
o 3-5 years of sales or marketing experience
o Experience in Entreprise Software and/or Consulting/System Integration space an advantage
o Understanding of Telecoms, Banking , Mobile Money an advantage
o Confident in using influencing skills and good communications to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea from prospects and clients
o A proven record of selling complex services and solutions at the ''C'' level of mid-to-large-sized entities. A demonstrated track record of success in a solution-oriented, professional services environment.
