Prestigious parastatal company based in Johannesburg is looking for a SeniorPerformance Test Analyst to join their dynamic team on an 8 months contract. The candidate hold anIT Degree, must have used testing tools such as HP LoadRunner/HP QC. Must have completed performancetesting for an integration project.MinimumRequirements:
3 or 4 year bachelor degree in Computer Scienceor IT is advantageous
5 – 10 years’ experience in PerformanceTesting
Experience on Testing Tools ( HP LoadRunner and HP Quality Center)
Experience on Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA, BPEL, OSB, JMS Queues) also Experiencewith web services, SOAP, REST, XML and XSD’s
Team oriented and able tooperate with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a project-based, teamenvironment
Experience with REST and SOAP API’s
Background in programming and scripting (Python, bash, JavaScript etc.)
Performance benchmarking and analysis
Excellent debugging skills
Group IT performance testing experience is an advantage
Responsibilities:
Definition of performance test approach/method
Arrange and drive workshops withthe clients and SMEs
Provide guidance on performance testing including:
Which tests to be included in performance testing
Performance testing approach
Measure effectiveness of performance testing
Put in place processes and practices to ensure performance test scripts remaincurrent
Execute performance regression testing
Resolution of anyissues which could impact performance testing
Ensure performancescripts are version managed
Arrange scheduling of performance tests
Test and debug performance test scripts
Verify and secure documentation reperformance test scripts
Obtain approval from the relevant stakeholders for thecompleted performance tests
Schedule regular performance runs to ensureperformance test scripts are current
Ensure that all performance test scripts areuploaded into HP Quality Center
An understanding of web protocols including HTTP,HTTPS, TCP/IP, and DNS
An understanding of networking and web technologies such asHTML, JavaScript, JSP, ASP, Flash
Ability to compile and presentperformance test results
